đźŽÂ Puppets with Purpose – School Tours 2026
Presented by:
Starlet Creative Industries
Event SummaryÂ
Bring the magic of puppetry and storytelling to your school in 2026!
Puppets with Purpose is a touring interactive program that blends live performance, multimedia, and hands-on creativity. Students watch a puppet show come to life before their eyes, then step into the creative process themselves — designing, building, and performing their own puppet stories.
In 2026, Puppets with Purpose hits the road across Queensland — inspiring students through imagination, laughter, and meaningful storytelling.
Each show combines live theatre, puppetry, and ICT integration, making learning come alive through the arts. The program can be tailored to suit your school’s themes — from wellbeing and resilience to environmental storytelling and inclusion.
After the performance, students explore the art of puppetry firsthand. Guided by storyteller and educator Marianne Buchanan, they discover how characters, voices, and movement bring stories to life — then create their own puppet performances using accessible materials and techniques.
