Clay & Stop-Motion Animation Workshop

Step into the world of storytelling, creativity, and hands-on animation with Mouldy Tales. In this interactive workshop, students explore characters and settings from familiar stories and experiment with ways to retell them using clay, figurines, images, movement, and stop-motion techniques.

Students use simple media tools such as iPads, tablets, cameras, and lights to create characters, props, and mini-sets, then bring their creations to life through stop-motion animation. This approach combines tactile, hands-on creativity with modern digital storytelling, giving students the excitement of seeing their ideas come alive on screen while developing skills in narrative, design, and collaboration.

Materials Provided: Cameras, tablets, lighting equipment, software, clay, and planning materials.
