Event details
A hands-on filmmaking incursion for Years 5 to 10 Media Arts, where students write, shoot and edit a short scene in 90 minutes.
What to expect
Students take a scene from idea to finished edit in a single session. They work through pre-production, shooting and post-production in four small teams, taking turns at directing, operating the camera and editing.
The workshop is built around what a school already owns, so it runs on whatever equipment is available. Students cover shot listing, framing, exposure, lens choice and lighting, then edit their footage into a completed scene.
