“I recently took my grandchildren to a performance by Indigenous Insights, it was an absolute delight!
My grandchildren were fully engrossed and engaged dancing and singing along from the very start to the end. They didn’t want it to finish. The performers were energetic, fun, and incredibly talented . I felt like each song had a special message to share with the children. It was heartwarming to see the joy on every child’s face. We can’t wait to attend the next one.”

“I have been honored to listen to and watch Aunty Sharron speak in a professional setting as an early childhood teacher many times. Her words are always thought provoking and powerful urging educators to embrace and embed indigenous perspectives in our lives, ours teaching and our classrooms. Today I was very blessed to watch her ‘show’ Stomp in the Karawatha Discovery Centre with my son. He loved the puppetry and I loved the subtle and authentic way she wove concepts of respect and consent into the show. Sharron is a warm, genuine and passionate woman I feel honored to have met in my career.”

“ I don’t even know where to begin! My heart is overflowing with gratitude and appreciation as I reflect back on our magical morning with Aunty Sharron. It was an absolute pleasure and privilege to learn, sing and dance alongside her. Aunty Sharron is inspirational, captivating and incredibly open-hearted. You could just feel the love, passion and authenticity flowing and radiating from her being. This created such a welcoming, kind and genuine atmosphere for the children and parents at our forst kindy to learn about culture, language and country through her music and stories. And while her music is mostly written for children to delight in, I was touched deeply as she shared about compassion and love for all, including our authentic selves. Aside from her extraordinary talents, contagious energy and natural ability to engage the children, she is also very professional. The entire process was seamless from start to finish. Her lovely daughter Jess was a brilliant communicator and made everything so easy. They make a wonderful team! We can’t wait to do it again soon!
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Big love! “

“ I have had the privilege of taking my young daughter to Aunty Sharron’s concerts on multiple occasions and it is always truly a memorable experience. Her performances are not any ordinary show, they are a celebration of culture, storytelling, and music, all intertwined in the most beautiful way.
Aunty Sharron has such a natural connection with the children. Her warmth, enthusiasm, and energy are contagious. She takes the time to explain the meaning behind each song which helped my child understand and appreciate the significance of what she was experiencing.Aunty Sharron’s music and stories fill our house on a daily basis, and my little one knows ‘I Am Me’ off by heart.
What struck me most was how the concert created a sense of belonging, not just for my child, but for everyone in the audience. Through song, dance, and interactive moments, Aunty Sharron taught important lessons about respect for the land, the people, and the culture.
This kind of event is exactly what our children need to develop respect for diversity and a stronger connection to the world around them.
Thank you Aunty Sharron for sharing your gift and creating magical, authentic moments for my daughter in her journey of understanding of and connection to the land that she grows on and Indigenous culture.Aunty Sharron’s way of teaching has been instrumental in embedding Aboriginal perspectives in early years services, schools and communities as well as capacity building of educators of children across all age groups and this impact has been significant right across South East Queensland.

Aunty Sharron’s work in the early years towards advocating for Aboriginal children and their families in the wider community has been instrumental in creating safe cultural ways of learning and knowing. This impact has been very evident in practice change in capability of embedding Aboriginal ways of learning and more importantly promoting the importance of well-being for both children and educators.
Aunty Sharron’s performances are an unforgettable experience for children and families. Her warmth energy and powerful storytelling creates and joyful space where everyone feels included and inspired. Through music, dance and rich cultural knowledge Aunty Sharron brings Aboriginal culture to life in a way that is engaging, respectful and deeply meaningful. Her songs and stories send messages of connection, respect and pride in culture and identity.”
